In a charming 17th century Inn situated in the beautiful hamlet of Stanton Wick.

The Carpenters Arms has been lovingly converted from a row of miners cottages into an idyllic Country Inn. You will be greeted as one of ‘the locals’ & have nothing more strenuous to do than relax in our cozy bar, enjoying some of our fine Ales, Clarets & Brandies, perusing the nights menu which our chefs are constantly ‘fine tuning’ to ensure the best use of local produce.

However, should you wish to venture out, we are only minutes away from the famous Chew Valley & Blagdon Lakes, offering fabulous walks through woods packed with wildlife & flowers. Clay Pigeon Shooting may be arranged locally, as well as golf at the near by Farrington Gurney Golf Course. The cities of Bath, Bristol and Wells are all within a 13 mile radius for shopping, theatres & sight seeing, as well as a wide range of museums & exhibitions.
